Pachamama

What does Pachamama mean?

In Inca mythology, Pachamama was the deity who represented Nature. From the ancient Quechua language, the name means "Mother Earth." The word Pacha can be translated as universe, world, or earth, whereas Mama means mother. Pachamama, on the other hand, is a Spanish word that means "Mother Earth" or "Mother Nature."

Why Pachamama?

Pachamama is not only a representation of a spiritual being, it is also a mindset that AMLA would like to share. Pachamama is all about eternal growth and AMLA believes that by expanding our horizons and having the chance to understand different cultures inherently helps us grow, as individuals but also as a collective body of the “citizens of the planet Earth”.
